I am a second year PhD student in the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI) at University of California San Diego, advised by Dr. Soohyun Nam Liao.
My research interests lie in Computing Education, including educational data mining,
human-centered tool design, and AI-based approaches to support learning at scale.
Before I join HDSI, I obtained an M.S. in Computer Science from CSE department of UCSD, and B.S. in Electronic Information Science & Technology from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.

🌟 Research Projects
Improving LLM-Generated Content for Data Science
An open-source tool that generates programming questions for data science courses using large language models (LLMs). We evaluated the tool through custom metrics and instructor feedback to improve content quality. This project offers a practical approach for improving LLM-generated educational content.
CompassX: Promoting Metacognition with Web-based Learning Application
CompassX is a web-based learning application designed to promote metacognitive study behaviors among students in computing courses. It guides students through planning, monitoring, and reflection phases, and helps explore how metacognitive engagement relates to academic performance.
ClearMind: A Human-Centered Application for Addressing Academic Procrastination
We developed ClearMind, a mobile application to help students overcome academic procrastination by integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles with human-centered design. It offers interactive, evidence-based exercises to support self-regulation and goal-directed learning. Our study explores how digital interventions impact student engagement and procrastination.
Crowd Counting Based on Deep Learning (Bachelor's Thesis, 2021)
Developed and deployed deep learning models for accurate crowd density estimation, achieving high precision with an error rate significantly lower than the industry average.
